Bichon, Maltese, Pomeranian, Samoyed, Poodle, and other breeds common in China are all fine. US airlines cannot refuse a service dog based on breed alone. Do note that carrier size and dog weight must meet each airline's specific rules.

Every dog entering the US must meet age, microchip, health, and CDC Dog Import Form rules. Dogs from China (a high-risk country) also need rabies vaccination and titer testing. 在中国接种疫苗的狗狗属于"境外接种"，需要：ISO芯片（先于疫苗）、狂犬疫苗、CDC入境表格收据、境外狂犬疫苗与芯片证明、CDC认可实验室的抗体检测（以避免28天隔离），狗狗须至少6个月大。再加上航空文件。没有抗体检测则需在CDC登记机构隔离。详见旅行指南。A China-vaccinated dog is "foreign-vaccinated" and needs: an ISO microchip (before the vaccine), rabies vaccine, CDC Dog Import Form receipt, Certification of Foreign Rabies Vaccination and Microchip, and a titer test from a CDC-approved lab (to avoid a 28-day quarantine), with the dog at least 6 months old, plus airline documents. The common mistake is assuming a US-born dog is exempt; CDC only looks at the past 6 months of travel.
